Musette's Television Trends, Episode 1.

Musette offers a chronological peek at some of television's cutest characters. With wardrobes that were reason enough to tune in, these four stars serve as perfect snapshots of their time. Remember your favourite hour of TV by effortlessly incorporating Marcia, Marisa, Denise and Kelly into your own look.

The 70's:
Marcia Brady of The Brady Bunch

No wonder every girl, including her own sisters wanted to be Marcia, Marcia, Marcia. She was the prettiest, perkiest, and most fashionable of the Brady Bunch. Marcia's floral shifts and golden 'do symbolise the very best of 1970's perfectionism.

The 80's:
Kelly Kapowski of Saved By The Bell

She put the KAPOW in Kapowski with her killer wardrobe and permanently hairsprayed fringe. Kelly embodied a sexy sort of girl next door by favouring skin tight garments that were wildly inappropriate for high school, but hey it was Bayside and somebody had to keep Zach Morris on his toes.

The 90's:
Denise Huxtable of The Cosby Show

As the wildest member of the Huxtable family, Denise gave us a look that was consistently fashion forward, never missing a beat or an opportunity to make-up only one eye. In a collection of clothes that were considered cutting edge for the time, something tells us that the too-cool Lisa Bonet had a little bit of say when it came to her character's wardrobe.

The Noughties:
Marissa Cooper of The O.C.

She may be the closest to our hearts, having reigned prime time the most recently. Marissa Cooper and the enviable costume department of The O.C. left us all yearning for days in the Newport sun, Chanel bags, and a loaded stepfather. Coop ruled this hit show by sporting Marc Jacobs and an equally badass attitude.
