Here Comes the Bride

Ding, Dong! Ding, Dong! An unlikely assortment of brides storm the Couture & Resort runways in get-ups that make us want to scream, 'I do!'

"Going to the Chapel of Love"

Lanvin Resort 2010/Alber Elbaz had a whole heap of fun with his beautiful brides - one donned sunglasses and a sloppy slogan tee while another showed off her legs and rocked a veil that was fixed to a flirty straw hat.

"If I'm the man you love the most you can say I do at least"

Givenchy Couture 2010/Designer Riccardo Tisci modernized the traditional bridal frock by adding harsh headpieces, trouser pants and lace ups booties. White was magnified and veils were as long as could be.

"We got married in a fever"

Phillip Lim Resort 2010/Lim offered up a mini lace number for a more understated class of brides - it's delicate, timeless but also super sexy. You gotta love a little leg!

"Da dum da dum da dum da dum"

Elie Saab Couture 2010/Each of Saab's 46 looks could have been sent directly down the aisle following the show. Sequined rosettes where adhered to sheer white fabrics, lengths were played with and shoulders were accentuated, draped or made asymmetrical. The unconventional was mixed with classic choices, guaranteeing to make any a bride-to-be happy, happy, happy.
